Dee Crowe was born in Dublin in the 60s.She worked in the Land Registry as a Mapping Draughtsperson for a number of years before leaving in 1989 to pursue a career as a fulltime artist,following in the footsteps of her artist Father.She has paintings in a number of corporate collections including the former Greencore,Guinness`s,Bank of Ireland,Hibernian Insurance ,Amnesty International and Harp Lager to name but a few,from contemporary works to portraits.She was a Gallery artist with the Gerald Davis Gallery until it closed in 2005 where she had a number of solo shows.She has also held exhibitions at the Kenny Art Gallery,Lahinch.She has also exhibited at the annual R.H.A and National Portrait Awards exhibitions.She is well known in Legal circles for her caricature portraits of the legal profession and also among politicians where many have had likenesses recreated.Her current work features textured landscapes and seascapes,where living close to the sea provides an abundance of inspiration.About
